Islamic Azad University of Medical Science Established on June 17, 1985, Islamic Azad University, Tehran Medical Branch, is a renowned non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality education for the public good. Dr. Seyed Hossein Yahyavi led the university during its initial stages, introducing four professional doctorate programs in medicine, nursing, midwifery, and laboratory sciences at the undergraduate level. With an initial enrollment of 376 students, the university has grown exponentially over the years and currently hosts over 6,000 scholars.
