The NTA has issued the exam calendar for 2024-25. According to it, the NMC NEET UG test would be conducted on 05 May 2024 in offline format. The question papers will be issued in 11 regional languages, along with Hindi and English. The applicants should begin studying to acquire the relevant score.

The National Medical Commission has announced the new NEET UG syllabus. The syllabus comprises themes from the curriculum of 11 and 12 standards. You can get it via the relevant portal. The questions will be from biology, chemistry and physics. The level of questions in the 2022 exam was challenging.
The fixed qualifying percentile has been set at 50 for the students from the unreserved category, whereas it 45 for PwD general category and 40 for SC, ST, OBC and PwD. Thus, the applicants must check the details of a test pattern to gain a broad notion.
The NEET UG examination is conducted once a year. Students must know the exam format well to ensure that they organise their studies accordingly. The question paper consists of 200 questions, although the students are supposed to answer only 180. Each of the topics/subjects is separated into two halves, A and B.
The first section will include 35 questions, while the second section will have 15 questions. The pupils have to answer only 10 questions in the second section. For every correct response, the student will be rewarded four marks, while every bad answer will have a penalty of -1 mark. Hence, the students must be very careful while tackling the questions.
