Key Responsibilities:

Collecting blood, urine, and other tissue/fluid samples from patients with care and precision.

Properly labeling, storing, and handling all specimens to ensure sample integrity.

Performing basic laboratory tests and procedures as required.

Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.

Ensuring strict adherence to safety and hygiene protocols (infection control).

Managing patient data and maintaining accurate records.

Providing a compassionate and professional experience for all patients.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

A recognized diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT, BMLT, or equivalent).

Prior experience in a similar role at a hospital, diagnostic lab, or collection centre is preferred.

Proficiency in phlebotomy and various sample collection techniques.

Strong understanding of laboratory safety and sterilization procedures.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
